Trapper's Middle Name

[edit]

Because in the Wiki article' current version lists full names for several of the characters, Trapper's middle name for the show was Xavier. 2603:6011:4947:9000:F913:E681:8E74:3A12 (talk) 01:37, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Keep it or cancel it vote.

[edit]

Near the end of the series run the network or studio or both promoted a national call in vote to keep the series or cancel it. As I recall the number of votes exceeded the number of votes in the presidential election. Cancel it won by about 10%. But I don't recall exact numbers. I think the "Keep it or cancel it vote" should be in the article. 2600:8807:5400:600:CD84:D8FE:E0CE:D008 (talk) 05:52, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You (or somebody) would need to provide a reliable source supporting that story. HiLo48 (talk) 05:58, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's for entries that are disputed or are likely to be. Such a dispute in this case would be baseless. Squatters owning pages do that, and it's prohibited. But the only enforcement is by those with the time or funding to wear down editors with ceaseless baseless disputes. Nobody even tries to block people that constantly lodge baseless disputes which are eventually disposed of. That's why quality editors fled, the quality of wiki has declined, and nefarious political agents can post blatant politically motivated misinformation, and remove information they want to repress.

Why should you not require a source.? Who says this is not debateable? Only things that are obvious or undebatable don't require a source eg "The sun is in the sky" "Rain is wet". "Grass is green." "Humans rarely live beyond a hundred years" Etc. I believe that is Wiki policy.. It is not usually difficult to find a source for something important.
